Poker Dealing Course - 6 week
course, 4 days a week, 4 hours a day. Monday thru Thursday. 10am -2pm
and 6pm-10pm. You will learn how to shuffle, pitch, placement of cards,
cutting chips, chip transactions, poker terminology, proper procedures,
rules, reading of hands and their proper ranking. You will learn
several games: 7 Card Stud, 7 Card
Stud 8 or Better, Texas Hold'em, Pineapple, Crazy Pineapple, Omaha,
Omaha 8 or Better, Razz and Tournaments.
We also provide job
placement support, thru our knowledge of the Poker Room management in
this area, Internet sites and will also help you build a resume.
Blackjack Course
- 3 week course, 4 days a week, 4 hours a day. Days vary. Times vary.
You will learn how to shuffle multiple decks, how to cut them and place
them in the shoe, proper dealing procedures and rules of player options
and dealer requirements. You will learn how to pay out in a
professional and procedure like manner, and how to pick-up and discard
cards. You will learn rack maintence and how to take in fills. You will
also learn at least 2 novelty games.
Poker Tournament Dealer Course -
1 week course 4 days, 4 hours a day. Afternoons only Moday thru
Thursday or 2 weekends in a row Saturday and Sunday. You will learn how
to shuffle, pitch, placement of cards and some terminology with
Tournament dealing as the focus. This course would help anyone
interested in dealing any of the Bar/Tavern tournaments that tour the
area. In addition, I will credit the tutition for anyone taking this
course, towards the full Poker Dealing Course in the future.
Circuit Dealer Course "New"-20-hour course whose instructor is an experienced World
Series of Poker and World Poker Tour dealer who has both final table and
feature table experience. The course picks up where the Poker Dealing Course leaves
off. Covering the concepts needed to deal in the highest level cash games encountered
on the circuit, such as straddles, kill pots, and pot-limit just to name a few.
This course will also instruct dealers in new games found on the circuit, such
as Chinese Poker and 2-7 Triple Draw Lowball. Upon completion, dealers will
have the skills needed to deal all the variations of games found on the circuit
and the knowledge required to expertly navigate the circuit to achieve your
career goals. Students must have successfully completed the Poker Dealing Course
or be a working dealer. Call for details.
